Youth Empowerment at LIC
At Lloydminster Islamic Center (LIC), we believe in nurturing the potential of our youth and empowering them to become leaders who embody Islamic values and contribute positively to society. Our youth empowerment programs are designed to provide educational, social, and spiritual support to young Muslims, equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in today’s world.

- Youth Forums: Forums and discussion groups facilitate idea sharing, relevant issue discussions, and meaningful dialogue.
- Volunteer Opportunities: Community service projects and volunteer initiatives encourage active contribution and social responsibility.
- Sports and Recreation: Physical fitness and teamwork are promoted through sports leagues, fitness classes, and recreational activities.
Spiritual Development:
- Youth Retreats: Retreats offer a space for reflection, prayer, and spiritual growth.
- Tarbiyah Programs: Personalized programs focus on character development, moral values, and strengthening faith.
- Youth-led Activities: Young leaders organize spiritual events, lectures, and discussions tailored to their peers’ interests.
Community Engagement:
- Interfaith Dialogue: Facilitating dialogue and collaboration promotes understanding, tolerance, and mutual respect among diverse communities.
- Social Justice Initiatives: Advocacy efforts and social justice initiatives address issues such as poverty, inequality, and environmental sustainability.
